- Colorthink
- Steve Upton's color utility is the "must" have for anyone serious about being a color geek. There's lots on his site, go often and check out the news and tips. You can buy almost any hardware from the site , updates, software, or whatever.
- GATF
- Graphic Arts Technical Foundation. The source for fine press and prepress quality control by eduction and available tools, books, training and conferences.
- Hutchcolor
- Don Hutchinson has the best collection of information and goodies to get great CM out of prepress gear. You'll find the ultimate scanner profiling charts and documents on how to do this with the Hutchcolor hand measured scanner charts.
- ECI
- European Color Initiative. The best European color scientists and consultants collectively promoting CM and color quality control issues. Valuable real world workflow advice and profiles for real press conditions. Also working space profiles for press optimized conditions are available here.
- ICC
- International Color Consortium. An association forming guidelines about open source color management. Specifications for ICC profiles are ratified by members each year and constant progress is making CM amazing via their contribution. Undeniably the source for past present and future CM fundamental issues.

- Apple © technology Colorsync changed our world. Current leaders in platform color management, there are lots of exciting details and possibilities for digital workflow. They have training , some documents and testimonials on correct Colosync work-flows.

- The best forum for CM issues is Apple's ColorSync-Users List from Apple.
- Bruce Lindbloom
- The most approachable color genius in the world today. Fascinating site with bits on color for more than average reliability. If only he could work with every major CM developer the world would be a better place. Thanks goes out to Bruce for all he's taught us. You have to check out this site.
- Brian Lawler
- Well some one that can really describe what most of us would like to know about color management. Lots of tools here.

- The best of hardware and software to make ICC CM work. An essential part of CM.
- X-Rite
- The other best hardware and software. X-Rite married Monaco and now have a family of great new little instruments to go with very fashionable and desirable software.
- LaCie
- Great color products in the way of displays, and an automated DDC calibrator which is my personal favorite. A standard for moderately priced hardware that quietly gained a huge installed base. The constantly work at keeping the software updates on this site.
- Color vision
- A collection of moderate users tools and software with innovative ways of making CM accessible to all. Tutorials and other technical documents give insight on "how to" on current platform CM.
